My Fashionista Motivators

You may all recognize this beautiful lady from a past MTV show, "The Hills". Lauren Conrad has been a role model of mine for many years and I'm sure she might have been yours too. Lauren is a very positive and great woman, from all her little quotes from her TV show to her hard work that made her to where she is today. Lauren Conrad attended FIDM in California and also interned at Teen Vogue. She now has her own clothing line at Khole's and has a inspiring blog. Her Blog has advice and tips on almost anything a girl would like to know. She give ideas on room decor, fashion, beauty, and health! I soon hope to have a blog like Lauren!

OMG where to start with this Famous and Fabulous woman!!! okay, I will be honest, I didn't know much about Anna Wintour until about two years ago in my Fashion 101 class at Lynn University. Even though I only knew a little about her, immediately I was impressed and could not get her out my head. So I did my research and found out that Anna is basically the God of fashion and Vogue is bible. Since then I started reading Vogue every month and learned so many different things about the fashion industry like the celeb's that were recognized and international styles that are now becoming a worldly trend. Anna Wintour is very hard working woman, has a heart for fashion, and a strong dedication for her magazine. I hope one day I can become as successful as her and share my love for not only fashion but for  the beauty that fashion has created.

Fashion Documentaries

I cannot even count the amount of times I have watch this documentary. From all the critical thinking on every single page to all the amazing places Anna Wintour had visited. Learning as much as I did from watching this documentary has motivate me to keep going and to pursue my dreams of being apart of the fashion world. I encourage all you fashionista's to watch this documentary! and yes, I am very aware that it did come out a while ago but it will most defiantly give you a bigger picture of life in the fashion industry.

Embarrassed to take selfies or get your picture taken in public? After watching this amazing documentary, I no longer cared about taking pictures in public for my blog :). Bill Cunningham is a magnificent and unique  photographer. From a very young age he would go out on the busy streets of Manhattan and take pictures of random people but with interesting fashion pieces. Bill was not like the rest of the photographers in the fashion industry, he always dared to be different and that is was had drawn my attention to his documentary. Rainy days are is favorite so he can go out get shots of the business woman in there high fashion outfits jumping over puddles. The best pictures are the ones that come natural and that why he did what he did. If you read Vogue magazines often, you will notice his name at the bottom of pictures. Overall, Bill Cunningham taught me that its okay to be different and to do what you think will bring perfection to your profession.

Fun Fact: Anna Wintour would only pose in public for Bill!
